Who we are
UpgradeMyBoiler Ltd is a broker. We introduce homeowners to independent, Gas Safe registered installation companies. We don’t carry out installations ourselves, and any contract for installation work is between you and the installer you choose.
Quotes
Quotes shown through our service are fixed prices offered by installers based on the information you provide. If that information turns out to be materially inaccurate, or something genuinely unforeseeable is found at your property, the installer must ask you to approve any change before continuing. You may cancel at that point at no cost.
Our service is free to homeowners
You pay nothing to use UpgradeMyBoiler. Installers pay us a fee when a job is booked through the platform. This fee doesn’t change the price you pay: installers quote the same fixed prices on and off the platform, and we audit this.
Vetting
We check each installer’s Gas Safe registration, public liability insurance and recent customer reviews before they can quote, and re-check registration monthly. We’re not a party to the installation contract, but if something goes wrong we’ll help you resolve it and remove installers who fall short of our standards.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights, or our liability for anything that can’t be limited by law. Because the installation contract is between you and your installer, responsibility for the installation work itself sits with them, backed by their insurance and your consumer rights.
